A deliberation on the abolishment of Oup․Myun․Dong office, which is on the table, is developing on a highly microscopic and bigoted dimension. In particular, in spite of the significant differences in both task processes and history of Oup․Myun and Dong respectively, the same criteria are being considered in that discussion.
Thus, along with pinpointing the limitations in the re-adjustment of local administrative layers, that is, microscopic and incomplete rather than macroscopic and synthetic, I will suggest an alternative to the central government inititive as follows ;
First, as illustrated in the review of elimination initiative of Oup․Myun․Dong office, we should take into consideration of differences between Oup․Myun and Dong in many respects. Second, it is a favorable recourse to entrust local councilmen with the administrative accountability of Oup and Dong, which is slated to expire. Third, the survived Myun office should be singled out as a comprehensive public service center for the corresponding area.
