This study was conducted to analyze the factors influencing the performance of the cooperative, and analyzed the cooperative's authentication type, general cooperative and social cooperative, as moderating effects. As a part of the social economy, cooperative makes decision of the union under the heading of one person rather than the ownership ratio of the social economy. The union members are also self-sufficient as producers and consumers and contribute to the community. In this regard, this study examined previous researches on the factors influencing the performance of the cooperatives, and conducted the analysis using the data published in 2017 of the cooperative association provided by the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency.
As a result of the analysis, first, the model improvement from the first stage to the third stage was done for net profit result selected as the dependent variable. As a result of the analysis of the net profit which is the dependent variable, the homepage, (+), And the ratio of employees and investment (-) are negative. Second, in the subordinate variable, community contribution results, the purpose of establishment and homepage are positive (+), and the number of decision making organizations is negative (-). Third, only the net profit, which is an economic factor, has a moderating effect in the interaction term. Based on the results of this analysis, this study has a policy implication in terms of factors that should be considered in order to achieve the cooperative's performance and the effect of the adjustment according to the type of certification.
