The Korea Local Administration Review

This study is a comparative study of the governors associations of the US, Japan, and Korea. In the body, the study compares and analyzes the organizational characteristics and capabilities of the associations of the three countries. On the basis of the result of comparative analysis, the study concludes that the capability of governors association of Korea could be improved when officers with interest in the association are dispatched for a long time, external relations of the association are expanded, standing committees are organized, and the policy center in the association is reinforced.
