The Korea Local Administration Review

 Local council plays an especially important role in the political environment of local government. It may be regarded as the ultimate legal authority in Korean political systems. It is politically subservient t the chief executive. In this respect, the purpose of this study is to check and review the administrative audit and inspection(A&I) by local council. This study has surveyed local council's A&I to the civil servants and local council congressmen in Seongnam City. The findings are:
First of all, congressmen have to effort the collection of information related the outcomes of public services and programs by the local government and make a learning groups related to preview A&I.
Secondly, congressmen have actively responded to the stakeholder related major public policies by local government. Thus, congressmen have regularly met them before A&I.
Finally, It is very important actor to improve A&I. These actors are composed of preparatory items, process items and application of A&I's outcomes.
