The Evaluations and Tasks on the Decentralization Level in Participatory Government

The Participatory Government has performed decentralization policies morestrongly than any other governments in Korea. Also in the early of LeeMyongbak government, 47 decentralization tasks has been selected andendeavored continuously to perform those ones for 5 years during its term ofoffice. But even in the new government, a lots of decentralization policies stillhave been establishing. It means that the decentralization policies which hadbeen propelled in Participatory Government did not get to the satisfactory levelyet. Therefore, in order to establish and perform the right decentralizationpolicies in this government, it is necessary to evaluate the decentralizationpolicies and define those problems. In this study, the decentralization policies ofParticipatory Government will be evaluated by areas of business, organizationand staffing, and budgeting on the propelling process and its results. And thetasks need to be performed in this government will be suggested on the basisof evaluation results of decentralization policies in the Participatory Government.
